It is with great sadness that we share with you the death of Retired District Chief Willie John Adkins (Edmonton, Alberta), who passed away on June 26, 2023, at the age of 97. Bill was a WWII veteran and Edmonton Firefighter for 31 years.

He is survived by : his wife Phyllis; his sibling Jean Heather; his children, Craig and Pam; his granddaughters, Melissa, Samantha and Katrina; and his extended family, Fay, Kathy (Howard), Carol, Christine and Lorne. He is also survived by many close friends.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 19th 2023 at 2:00 PM at the Evergreen Funeral Home (16204 Fort Rd NW, Edmonton, AB T5Y6A2).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Bill's name may be made to his favourite charity, the Veterans Association Food Bank.
