Our condolences, to our honour guard commander Cody Smith & family on the passing of your Grandfather.

On April 11, 2020; Mike, a beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, gedo to many, family to more and friend to all; passed away peacefully at home at the age of 86. He lived and worked on the family farm until he moved to Edmonton in 1954. He worked various jobs that included long haul trucking until 1963 when he joined the Edmonton Fire Department. After 29 years, in 1992 he retired as a District Chief. Mike was a family man first and foremost! He enjoyed a long and fulfilling retirement.
