Retired Captain Lorne Taylor peacefully passed away on November 30, 2022.
He leaves his loving family, wife Elaine (Wronko), his children Desiree, Vincent (Rhonda); grandchildren Jay, Sarah (Sheldon), Leticia, Kathryn; four great-grandchildren and in-laws John (Betty), Doreen, Glenys (Everett), as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by siblings Neil and Norma.
Lorne proudly served with the Edmonton Fire Department for 36 years. We wish to acknowledge with gratitude the care Lorne received from his medical team: Dr. Waugh; Dr. McAlister and staff at the Mazankowski Heart Institute and those at the Grey Nuns Hospital.
At Lorne’s request, there will be no service.
