It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Mel Croome on March 31, 2022 at the age of 92.

He is survived by his loving wife of 71 years, Connie; children: Linda (Raymond), Sandy (Ray), Jim (Sharon), Guy (Louise), Russell (Cydney), Jill (Clint); 16 loved and loving grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his son, Robert. Mel loved his fulfilling career as a firefighter. He also loved spending time at the lake cabin, golfing, cross-country skiing, gardening and flowers. He especially loved spending time with his family; it brought him such joy. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Mel will be deeply missed.
