It is with great sorrow that the family of Randy William Busenius announce his sudden death at the age of 72.
Randy served his community as a City of Edmonton firefighter for 34 years, retiring as a District Chief in 2007.
Randy had an adventurous spirit. He loved to travel, hunt, and fish. Randy also had a great passion for his hometown teams, the Oilers and Elks. He rarely missed a game and held season tickets for many years.
Of all his passions, Randy's most favourite pastime was to listen to his granddaughters play the piano.
Randy was a very proud father and grandfather.
Randy is survived by his brothers, Bryan Busenius and Marlin Busenius; and his sister, Wanelle Antoniuk (Ken); father, James (Jim) Busenius; three sons, Ryan Busenius (Marley), Cutis Busenius (Sabrina), Randy Lee Busenius (Andrea); and his grandchildren, Logan, Noah, Ambrie, Owen and Braelynn.
He was predeceased by his mother, Alma Busenius.
As per Randy's request, no Funeral or Memorial Service will be held.
