We would like to thank Paul McGonigal & Alan Cooke for their commitment and passion that aided our society's start up. Their knowledge and experience working with & building fire department charities has been a tremendous benefit to us. Paul & Al were true leaders from the very beginning of our society when conversations started around developing this band. They were steadfast up until their resignation at our 2020 AGM. They had both decided to move on and commit their time to family & other ventures. We will miss them.
The knowledge they shared, is key to our future sustainability.
Alan's previous experience with the Honour Guard and Burn Treatment was a great asset for us.
Paul's community relationships obtained while serving as the previous director for the Edmonton Firefighters Muscular Dystrophy program, including his previous experience on the Union executive, was welcomed.
